Art is an extension of my being. I have been connected to it since I can remember. There is a sense where I feel my ancestors flow through me when I create. I have always had a passion for art, no matter the medium. I first started in graphite drawing anything from the frequent doodling, to Pokémon, to portraits and still life. From there I went into doing acrylic and watercolors and pen and ink. My acrylic paintings often take an abstract form, though I have also created some pseudo-realism with bold colors. My pen and ink pieces started off as class projects making geometric and bold pieces, then translated into croquis and flats for fashion, and finally drawing freeform line-art landscapes with affirming words.

I have always had a love for photography. When I was young, I was given a point-and-shoot camera where I proceeded to photograph the world. A few years later, I got myself a Canon Rebel T2i DSLR camera. I have photographed the beautiful landscapes that I have had the opportunity to experience, fashion shows I got to be a part of, and have done various portraits. One of my favorite kinds of photography is macro and textural.

I hope that you find the photographs you find here inspiring and brings you into how I see world a bit.
